1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use dsheq.co.za and when you request a free RAMS from Vibe Innovations (Pty) Ltd, trading as DSHEQ ("DSHEQ", "we"), registration number 2025/747306/07. By using the website or requesting a RAMS, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.
2. Using the website
- The website gives general information about DSHEQ. We keep it accurate, but features and details may change.
- Don't misuse the website: no attempts to break in, overload it, scrape it at scale or send us malicious content.
- Details you give us on the website must be your own, or details you are allowed to share.
3. Free RAMS
A free RAMS (risk assessment and method statement) is generated from the details you give us. Please read this before you use one:
- It is a starting point, not a finished document. It has not seen your site, your equipment or your team.
- A competent person must review it against your actual site, scope, equipment and team, and adapt it where needed, before work starts.
- You stay responsible for health and safety on your site and for meeting the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 and the Construction Regulations, 2014, or any other law that applies to your work.
- DSHEQ accepts no liability for the use of a RAMS without that review.
- The RAMS is free, for use by you and your business.
4. The DSHEQ product
Use of the DSHEQ product (the Areta Compliance Portal) is covered by a separate customer agreement and data processing agreement, not by these terms.
5. Intellectual property
The website, the DSHEQ name and logo, and the website's text and images belong to DSHEQ or its licensors. You may view and share pages for your own use, but you may not copy, sell or reuse them without our written permission. You may use and adapt a free RAMS we send you for your own work.
6. Liability
The website and free RAMS documents are provided "as is". As far as the law allows, DSHEQ is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the website or a free RAMS, including loss caused by errors or omissions in it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 where it applies.
7. Links to other sites
The website links to other services, such as our booking page. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
8. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we collect and use personal information.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. We may update them from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
